graduate of Marion Center High School, where she was co-captain of the majorette squad. She worked as a bookkeeper for several companies, including GLR Mining Company and Twinbrook Coal Company. Janet was actively involved in her community, being a member of the Tanoma Church and various local organizations. She was known for her love of baking, particularly her famous sticky buns, and her passion for hunting and outdoor activities. Janet is survived by her husband, Donald Houser, whom she married in 1986, and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Martin.
