Square Robot has developed a new high temperature inspection robot, the SR-3HT, which has received the NEC/CEC Class I Division 2 (C1D2) certification. This certification, issued by FM Approvals, confirms the robot's safety for use in hazardous locations. The SR-3HT is designed to inspect above-ground storage tanks with product storage temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C. This development addresses the demand for onstream robotic tank inspections at elevated temperatures, expanding Square Robot's previous operating range. The SR-3HT employs both active and passive cooling technology, enhancing its operational capabilities.
