What's Happening?
Grammy-winning artist and Atlanta native Ciara has invested $50,000 in youth programs across Atlanta, aligning with Mayor Andre Dickens' commitment to youth development. The investment, announced during the second annual Ciara Day, will support 10 local
organizations through scholarships, training, and educational experiences. These initiatives aim to help young Atlantans pursue careers in music, film, fashion, technology, sports, dance, education, and leadership. The Mayor’s Office of Film, Entertainment and Nightlife, in collaboration with Director Phillana Williams, selected the organizations to receive funding. Each organization will receive $5,000 to expand access and opportunities for Atlanta's youth within the city's creative economy.
