The Indian Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) to procure Invar anti-tank missiles valued at $236.4 million. This acquisition aims to enhance the operational readiness
of the Indian Army's Armoured Regiments by equipping T-90 main battle tanks with advanced missile systems. The Invar missile is a laser-guided weapon capable of engaging targets up to 5,000 meters away, including moving targets. This procurement falls under the 'Buy (Indian)' category, reflecting India's efforts to utilize domestic expertise in defense manufacturing.
