What's Happening?
Prodezi Long An Joint Stock Company has partnered with Swiss Asia Partner SA to advance the Be Milk dairy manufacturing plant in Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam. The collaboration was formalized during a meeting on April 9, 2026, involving international investors
and local authorities. The project aims to establish a dairy manufacturing facility adhering to European production standards, with Swiss Asia Partner SA acting as the investor and market developer. The initiative is part of Tay Ninh's strategy to attract foreign direct investment, which reached approximately $1.7 billion in 2025. The Be Milk plant will require an investment of about $100 million and will be developed in two phases, incorporating advanced technologies from international partners.
Why It's Important?
The Be Milk project represents a significant investment in Vietnam's dairy sector, which is projected to grow to $13.37 billion by 2033. This growth is driven by increasing domestic demand for dairy products. The collaboration between Prodezi and Swiss Asia Partner SA highlights the potential for international partnerships to enhance local industries through technology and quality standards. The project aligns with Tay Ninh's focus on high value-added manufacturing and adherence to environmental, social, and governance standards, potentially boosting the region's economic development and industrial capabilities.
What's Next?
The Be Milk project will proceed with its development phases, focusing on integrating European-standard technologies and sustainable practices. The collaboration may lead to further investments in Tay Ninh, enhancing its industrial infrastructure and attracting more foreign direct investment. Local authorities are expected to continue expanding industrial land and improving connectivity to support such projects. The success of the Be Milk plant could serve as a model for future international collaborations in Vietnam's manufacturing sector.
