Beyond his professional achievements, Leff was deeply involved in community service, serving three terms on the Iowa City School Board and supporting local organizations like the Crisis Center of Johnson County. He was known for his humor, love for Iowa athletics, and dedication to his family. A celebration of his life is scheduled for February 14, 2026.
