After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, engaging in activities like fishing and camping. Irene is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. A visitation will be held on August 10, 2026, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery.
