Exotrail Announces Second Spacevan Mission with Diverse Payloads

Exotrail, a French propulsion and in-space mobility company, has announced the details of its second spacevan orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) mission, named 'Wings of Light'. Scheduled for launch on SpaceX’s Transporter-16 rideshare in early 2026, the mission will carry a variety of payloads, including hosted payloads and satellites. Notable participants include Cailabs, QuantX Labs, DcubeD, Xtenti, Lunar Outpost, and the University of Colorado, which is funded by NASA. This mission follows Exotrail's first spacevan flight in 2023, and the company has since improved its spacevan by vertically integrating many subsystems to enhance economic and operational capabilities. The new spacevan is entirely developed and assembled in-house, featuring a proprietary satellite bus and propulsion system.
