Juan Pablo Acosta Magaña has been appointed as the Director of Cargo Sales for Latin America at JAXPORT. In this newly created role, Acosta Magaña will focus on strengthening commercial ties between Jacksonville and containerized cargo customers across South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. With 20 years of experience in international trade and logistics, he has worked with major ocean carriers such as Maersk Line, Hamburg Süd, and Hapag-Lloyd. His expertise in freight forwarding and supply chain optimization provides him with a comprehensive understanding of global logistics. Acosta Magaña holds a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in International Commerce from Universidad Alejandro de Humboldt.
