He found his true calling at Arthur J Gallagher & Co., where he served as Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Broker Services Division. Beyond his professional achievements, McClure was deeply involved in his community, particularly through his long-term commitment to the Mt. Prospect Bible Church, where he played the organ and served as Trustee Chairman. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, two daughters, six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation and service are scheduled for February 7, 2026, in Arlington Heights, IL.
