equipped with modern conveniences. The project was spearheaded by the Renaissance Neighborhood Development Corporation, a subsidiary of Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, and was funded through a mix of public and private investments, including a significant $7.9 million equity investment from UnitedHealth Group. The community features 13 residential buildings offering one, two, and three-bedroom units, with 14 units benefiting from Project-Based Section 8 vouchers. Rents range from $300 to $1,500 based on household income, with an average rent of $986. The community is pet-friendly and includes amenities such as a clubhouse, fitness center, playground, and outdoor spaces with barbecue areas and picnic tables.
