What's Happening?
New Jersey Transit has initiated a pilot shuttle program named MicroLink, designed to provide free connections to major bus stops and park & rides in select areas of New Jersey. This initiative, launched in partnership with Via and supported by $7 million
in funding from the Federal Transit Administration, aims to enhance commuter access to the bus network. The service is currently available in four communities in Bergen County and two in Monmouth County. Operating from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, the service is accessible via the MicroLink app or by phone. The program is set to run for two years at no cost to commuters, offering a flexible, on-demand transit option that complements existing services.
