Mary Jean Roy, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 61. Her family, including her sister, daughters, son-in-law, and grandson, were by her side. Mary was born to Joseph and Anita Roy on March
29, 1965, and was one of five children. She leaves behind a loving family, including her children Kendall, Haley, and Jordin, sons-in-law Matt and Doug, grandson Micah, mother Anita, sisters Karen and Lynda, brother Tony, and former husband Doug. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2026, at the East Granby Congregational Church in Connecticut. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Be Well Therapy, a nonprofit supporting individuals and families navigating cancer, reflecting Mary's belief in holistic healing.
