Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain announced a new initiative aimed at modernizing Pakistan's agriculture sector. Under the Prime Minister's Special Capacity-Building
Initiative, 224 Pakistani agriculture graduates will receive specialized training at two leading Chinese institutions. The program is designed to equip these graduates with modern knowledge and practical skills in areas such as crop genetic breeding, veterinary medicine, intelligent agricultural equipment, and animal breeding. The training will take place at Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University in Shaanxi and Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. This initiative is part of the government's vision to build a modern, innovative, and climate-resilient agriculture sector through international collaboration.
