What's Happening?
Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding is set to host its annual Jingle Bell Fun Run on December 6. The event features a 2-mile run/walk starting at 4 p.m., designed to be family-friendly. Participants
will follow a scenic route beginning at the Sundial Bridge, looping through and finishing at the McConnell Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. An optional 1-mile extension is available for those seeking a greater challenge, bringing the total distance to 5 kilometers. After the run, attendees can enjoy the Redding Garden of Lights, a holiday display with over 2 million lights and attractions like Glowing Swings and Model Train Town. New this year is the Turtle Express Train Ride, offering a journey past winter lights and animal lanterns. Tickets for the train ride are available for $10. The event also includes opportunities to meet Santa and enjoy holiday treats, hot cocoa, craft cocktails, and warm bites from Mosaic Restaurant.
