KG Motors, a Hiroshima-based startup, has commenced mass production of the MiBot, an ultra-compact, single-seat electric vehicle (EV). The MiBot, developed by KG Motors founder Kazunari Kusunoki, aims to challenge traditional auto giants by offering affordable
urban mobility solutions. The production began in October 2025 at a new assembly facility in Higashi Hiroshima City. The MiBot is priced at approximately ¥1 million ($7,000 USD) and is designed for short urban trips, featuring a 100 km range and 60 km/h top speed.
