Eugenia (Gina) M. Kenney, aged 83, passed away on December 15, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Kenney and later found love again with Dr. Walter Heinlein, who survives her. Gina was a devoted
mother to Kathleen Stevens-Justice and R. Michael Kenney, and a cherished grandmother to Jack and Scott Stevens. She was also the sister of Janice Shipley and the late Richard Wawrzyniak. A visitation is scheduled for December 28, 2025, at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home in Palatine, Illinois, followed by a Mass on December 29 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Inverness. Interment will take place at St. Michael Cemetery.
