LJ Taylor, a senior defensive back from Celina High School, has been named The Sporting News Texas Player of the Week for Week 7. Taylor's outstanding performance was pivotal in Celina's 38-14 victory
over previously unbeaten Sulphur Springs on October 10. During the game, Taylor executed three punt returns for 140 yards, including a touchdown, made three tackles, intercepted a pass, and scored a receiving touchdown. His contributions were instrumental in securing the Bobcats' 23rd consecutive win.
