Nobu Hospitality, in collaboration with Salboy, has initiated the construction of a new skyscraper in Manchester, UK. This project, known as Nobu Manchester, will feature a 160-room hotel, a Nobu restaurant,
and 452 branded residences. The skyscraper is set to reach a height of 246 meters, making it the tallest building in the UK outside of London upon its completion, which is expected in 2031. The development is located on a 40,500-square-foot brownfield site in Manchester's city center and aims to blend modern architecture with the city's industrial heritage. The design incorporates the site's original Grade II-listed Victorian viaduct arches. The Nobu restaurant will be located on the ground floor, offering Japanese cuisine, while the residences will feature Japanese-inspired interiors and amenities such as a swimming pool, podium garden, and gym. Sales for the residences are anticipated to begin in 2026.
