The New South Wales Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) has redefined its top technology executive role by appointing a Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). This position, previously held as Chief Information Officer (CIO),

Aleksandr (Alex) Render, who was initially appointed as the interim CIO, is now acting as the CDIO.
