Momentus Inc., a U.S. commercial space company, has been awarded a $5.1 million contract by NASA's Flight Opportunities program to support the Commercial Orbital System for Microgravity In-Space Crystallization (COSMIC) demonstration. Momentus will provide its Vigoride orbital service vehicle as the platform for hosting COSMIC payloads, which will demonstrate novel semiconductor manufacturing technology.
