A Ventura teenager has been charged with two felonies after allegedly driving an electric motorcycle the wrong way on a Southern California highway. The charges include evading a peace officer and evading an officer while driving the wrong way. The minor,
whose identity is protected due to age, faces additional misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and operating a motorcycle without a valid license. The incident occurred during a police sting operation targeting unsafe e-bike and e-motorcycle use. The teen reached speeds of 60 mph and was eventually apprehended after abandoning the motorcycle.
