What's Happening?
NASA's Crew-13 mission is set to launch to the International Space Station (ISS) from Cape Canaveral on September 12, 2026. The crew consists of NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos
cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov. This mission marks Jessica Watkins' second flight aboard the SpaceX Dragon, making her the first NASA astronaut to be a repeat flier on the Dragon spacecraft. The Crew Dragon Grace, which will be used for this mission, previously flew on the Axiom 4 mission in 2025. The Falcon 9 booster for this launch has been used in previous missions, including Crew-12 and a Starlink mission. The mission will involve a six-month stay at the ISS, where the crew will conduct various scientific experiments, spacewalks, and outreach activities.
