Chindata Group and HEC Group have announced two significant partnerships aimed at developing AI compute projects in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, and Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia. These initiatives focus on integrating industrial production, high-density computing

The Shaoguan project involves creating a zero-carbon compute campus with a planned IT capacity of 150 MW, forming part of a larger industrial ecosystem. Meanwhile, the Ulanqab project is set to establish China's first gigawatt-scale, vertically integrated demonstration zone powered by private-wire green electricity.
