Dr. Badrul Masud has been appointed as the water quantity engineer for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA). Starting his role in June 2025, Dr. Masud is tasked with improving
irrigation and water management for Ontario producers. His background includes serving as a senior modeling specialist with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment and working as a hydrologist in various consulting firms. Dr. Masud holds a PhD from the University of Saskatchewan and has extensive experience in water management and agricultural engineering.
