What's Happening?
Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., along with Chevron Offshore (Thailand) Ltd. and Chevron Pattani Ltd., has awarded a contract to ABL for marine warranty survey (MWS) and third-party support
services. This contract is aimed at supporting upcoming offshore operations in the Gulf of Thailand. ABL will provide MWS services for wellhead platform installations, which include document reviews, suitability surveys, loadout and towage approvals, and lifted installation assessments. The project will be led by ABL's Thailand operations, with additional support from regional offices in Malaysia and Singapore. Mingkwan Surasorn, ABL's Country Manager in Thailand, emphasized the company's capability to deliver a diverse scope of work due to its expertise in the APAC region. Simon Healy, Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific, highlighted ABL's integrated approach, which combines marine warranty, DP assurance, and diving audits to ensure safer and smarter operations.
