Graphite One has announced the confirmation of rare earth elements (REEs) at its Graphite Creek deposit in Nome, Alaska. Geochemical testing conducted by Activation Laboratories revealed the presence of REEs in drill
core samples from garnet-bearing ore rock within the proposed pit area. The U.S. Geological Survey recognizes Graphite Creek as the largest known natural graphite deposit in the United States. The feasibility study resource estimate has tripled previous projections, highlighting the site's potential. The proposed pit covers only 12% of the 15.3 km mineralized zone, which hosts graphite and garnet.
