What's Happening?
The Ministry of Education has officially released a list of senior schools approved to offer Agriculture, Aviation, and Geography courses for Grade 10 learners. This initiative is part of the Curriculum-Based Education (CBE) framework, which was rolled
out in 2024. The subject combination is categorized under the Applied Sciences track within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) pathway. This pathway is designed to cater to students' strengths, talents, and future career interests, allowing them to specialize in scientific and practical learning areas. The Ministry has approved 78 schools nationwide to offer this subject combination, distributed across various counties and classified into clusters C1, C2, C3, C4, and PR (Private). The initiative aims to provide students with education in environmental systems, food production, spatial studies, and aviation-related concepts.
