Fozio was a beloved husband to Debra Fozio for 37 years and a devoted father to Ashley Corey. He was also a proud grandfather to Evelyn and Milo Corey. Fozio grew up in Bellwood, Illinois, and attended St. Joseph High School in Westchester. He met his wife while working at Jewel Food Store, and they married in 1988. The couple moved to Aurora, Illinois, in 1993, where they lived until 2015. Fozio was a member of IUOE Local 150 as an Operating Engineer for over 20 years before retiring early. He was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus and had a passion for animals, particularly his pets. Fozio's pacemaker is intended to be donated to a local animal hospital. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Fozio, and several other family members. A celebration of his life is planned for October.
