What's Happening?
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has initiated a funding program aimed at Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) in Botswana. This initiative seeks to enhance livelihoods, self-reliance, and economic inclusion for refugees, asylum-seekers,
and stateless persons. The program encourages projects that focus on skills development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic opportunities. Eligible projects may include vocational training, micro-enterprise development, and digital inclusion. The initiative aims to empower refugee communities by promoting local ownership and sustainable solutions.
