Russell Police Officer Isaac Cherry has graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) as part of its 356th class. The 14-week basic training program is a foundational step in Kansas law enforcement education. Officer Cherry distinguished
himself by receiving the academy's fitness award. Graduates of the program are certified by the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training, the state's law enforcement licensing authority. Officer Cherry will now return to his duties in Russell, Kansas, to complete his field training.
