What's Happening?
The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is inviting residents to apply for the 2026 Citizen's Police Academy. The academy is a 17-week program designed to educate citizens about law enforcement operations. Classes will be held weekly on Thursdays from
6-8 p.m., starting tentatively on April 16 and continuing until August 30. Participants will engage in various activities, including scenario-based applications, jail tours, crime scene investigations, accident investigations, and shoot/don't shoot scenarios. The program is free for all Livingston County citizens but is limited to fourteen adult participants.
