The initiative focuses on pre-competitive research and development, encouraging coalition members to share findings to drive innovation in animal agriculture and enhance market traction for plant-based proteins. Key participants include General Mills, Cargill, Target, and the University of Minnesota, among others. The initiative also features the Bold Growth mentorship program to support high-potential protein innovation companies and the Protein Navigator to connect these companies with Minnesota's ecosystem.
