Epson has launched two new desktop scanners, the WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN, aimed at improving office document management. These scanners are designed to handle a variety of documents, offering features such as automatic double-sided scanning and text enhancement for clearer digital copies. The DS-1760WN model includes a 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen and a feature called ScanWay, allowing users to scan directly to network folders, USB drives, cloud services, or email without a computer. Both models come with Document Capture Pro software, enabling automation of up to 30 scanning tasks and supporting optical character recognition for creating searchable PDFs or editable Word and Excel files. Additionally, up to 30% of the scanner's main body is made from recycled plastic.
