Nigerian entrepreneur Opeyemi Adebowale, founder of C K Afrique Ltd, has announced the expansion of the Afroluxe Tradefair to three cities in the UK. The tradefair, which aims to support Black-owned businesses and cultural enterprises, will begin in Sunderland
on July 4th, followed by Bristol on September 5th, and Hartlepool on November 1st. The initiative seeks to address the challenges faced by African and Black-owned businesses in gaining commercial visibility and networking opportunities in the British market. The tradefair is designed to create a sustainable economic model for smaller vendors who lack significant marketing resources. The event is supported by several diaspora business networks and local enterprise organizations, including Hallmark HMO, Bukie Signature Consulting Limited, and the Nigerian Community in Sunderland.
