A one-year-old boy was reunited with his mother after thieves stole her car with the child still inside in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Monday on the 3400 block of Henry Avenue in the East Falls neighborhood. The mother had left

According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, it is believed the thieves did not realize the child was in the car when they drove off. Fortunately, the baby's grandmother discovered the boy on a sidewalk about a block away shortly after the theft. Police later located the abandoned vehicle in West Philadelphia on the 4000 block of Parkside Avenue, using a tracking device the mother had in the car. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance video to identify the suspects involved in the car theft.
