The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has launched the PATA Micro-credential Programme, a new global learning initiative aimed at empowering tourism professionals in the Asia Pacific region with practical, industry-driven skills. Announced at the PATA Annual
Summit 2026 in Gyeongju, Korea, the programme offers self-paced online courses developed by PATA members EarthCheck and The Sigmund Project. These courses focus on ESG strategies and AI-powered marketing, targeting professionals from entry-level to senior roles. Participants will receive digital certificates upon completion, enhancing their skills in a rapidly evolving industry.
