A Michigan man has been arrested and charged in the Village of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, for allegedly stalking and threatening a Wisconsin resident he did not know. The investigation began when the victim contacted the Kewaskum Police Department, reporting
repeated and increasingly threatening messages from an unknown man across multiple social media platforms. The suspect also obtained the victim's phone number and home address. On August 20, the victim informed police that the suspect appeared to be traveling to Kewaskum. Police identified the suspect and his vehicle information, using license plate reading cameras to track his movement towards the village. Officers located and apprehended the 28-year-old man on Highway 28 without incident around 5:12 p.m. He has been charged with one count of stalking and one count of disorderly conduct.
