Waldorf Astoria has launched its first hotel in the Nordic region with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Helsinki. Located in Helsinki's historic Kruununhaka district, the property is owned by M&L Group and
operated by Hilton. The hotel occupies four preserved historic buildings designed by Finnish architects Evert Lagerspetz and Armas Siitonen. It features 116 rooms, including 32 suites, some of which offer in-room saunas and private terraces with jacuzzis. The hotel includes the Peacock Bar and a spa with a Finnish sauna and other wellness amenities. This opening is part of Waldorf Astoria's global expansion, with future entries planned in cities like London, Sydney, and Jakarta.
