What's Happening?
In Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala's Minister for Industries, P Rajeeve, has laid the foundation stone for a new research and manufacturing center for the Centre for Research on Molecular and Applied Sciences
(CRMAS) at the Bio 360 Life Sciences Park. This initiative is part of Kerala's strategy to become a leading hub for biomedical and life sciences industries. The center will collaborate with prestigious institutions like the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre and several IITs and NITs. It is expected to create over 100 high-skilled jobs and focus on advanced research areas such as disease modeling, neuronal stimulation, and cardiac remodeling.
