John R. Nicosia, a longtime resident of the Northwest side of Chicago, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of Joan R. for 71 years and a loving father and grandfather. Nicosia was known for his compassion
and kindness, always being there for those in need. His passing is mourned by his family, including his children, grandchildren, and extended family members. A visitation is scheduled for January 29, 2026, followed by a Mass at Our Lady, Mother of the Church, and interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
