A 32-year-old man from Fort Pierce, identified as Savon Damont Montgomery, was arrested following a high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle. The incident began when detectives from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office observed a black Honda Civic circling
a 7-Eleven parking lot. The vehicle, reported stolen earlier that day, fled the scene, leading detectives on a chase through St. Lucie County. The pursuit ended when the vehicle's tire blew out after leaving the roadway. Montgomery attempted to evade arrest by moving to the back seat but was apprehended without further incident.
