What's Happening?
Rollon has introduced its new Cobot Transfer Unit (CTU), designed to improve automation processes with reduced lead times. The CTU is a comprehensive system that includes an actuator, gearbox, motor, and electrical cabinet, and features a 220V power supply to eliminate the need for industrial voltage. The integration of the R-Smart actuator enhances system stiffness and load capacity. Rollon’s URCap software allows intuitive programming from the Universal Robots teach pendant, supporting the entire range of Universal Robots. The CTU offers high stiffness, lightweight construction, and strokes of up to 5500mm, with extensions available upon request.
Why It's Important?
The launch of Rollon's Cobot Transfer Unit represents a significant advancement in automation technology, offering businesses a more efficient and flexible solution for robotic integration. By reducing lead times and simplifying programming, the CTU can enhance productivity and operational efficiency in manufacturing environments. The adoption of a 220V power supply makes the system more accessible to a wider range of facilities, potentially reducing costs and barriers to entry for automation. As industries increasingly turn to automation to address labor shortages and improve precision, innovations like the CTU can play a crucial role in driving technological adoption and competitiveness.
