The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is actively seeking an AMR One Health Surveillance Specialist to support its efforts in tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through a One Health approach. This role involves finalizing a conceptual roadmap
for global surveillance of AMR in the environment, developing an implementation plan, and creating an expert group for environmental surveillance. The specialist will also analyze initiatives related to monitoring and surveillance, develop knowledge products, and provide technical support for integrating environmental aspects into global surveillance systems. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong background in environmental science and AMR surveillance.
