The Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU) at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is actively seeking a Director for Recreation and Wellness. This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the SMSU Executive Director and is responsible
for providing vision and direction for a comprehensive recreation program. The program encompasses various facilities and activities, including the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC), Adventure Programs, Fitness, Competitive Sports, Membership, Well-being initiatives, Special Events, and overall Operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with planning, organizing, implementing, managing, and evaluating all Recreation & Wellness programs for both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses, ensuring adherence to established service standards. The role also involves developing short and long-range operating plans, managing budgets, and overseeing personnel.
