FN Browning Group's Defence & Security division has unveiled the FN ARKA rifle, expanding its portfolio with a new 5.56x45mm NATO caliber firearm. The FN ARKA is designed to merge the durability and mechanical systems of the FN SCAR with the ergonomic
features of the AR-15. This new rifle includes fully ambidextrous controls such as a bolt catch, magazine release, and firing selector, offering users flexibility in operation. The rifle is available in multiple configurations, including a 14.5-inch standard barrel and an 11.25-inch CQC barrel, with options for short or long M-LOK handguards. It is offered in FDE or black finishes and can be configured for selective fire or semi-automatic operation. The FN ARKA is compatible with AR-style buttstocks and pistol grips, and features an adjustable gas block for performance in challenging environments. Additionally, it includes a flow-through suppressor to manage gas and reduce blowback, and can integrate with FN's SMARTCORE predictive maintenance system and VICTOR marksmanship training solution.
