The Brea Gallery is currently hosting 'Yo Gabba Gabba: The Super Art Friends Show,' an exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic children's television series 'Yo Gabba Gabba!' The show,
which originally aired on Nick Jr. from 2007 to 2015, was created by Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz, members of the Orange County rock band the Aquabats. The exhibition features a variety of artworks inspired by the colorful world of 'Yo Gabba Gabba!' as well as original props and development materials from the show. The gallery director, Katie Chidester, collaborated with the creators and Ben Schultz, a member of the Brea Cultural Arts Commission, to organize the exhibition. The event coincides with the announcement of a second season of 'Yo Gabba GabbaLand!' on Apple TV+, set to air in January 2026.
