The Nautilus Maldives has been awarded its first Green Globe certification, recognizing its commitment to sustainability. The resort has implemented various eco-friendly initiatives, including the installation of 704 solar panels that generate approximately
430,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually. This effort reduces over 814 tonnes of carbon emissions each year, equivalent to planting more than 7,800 trees. The resort also employs passive cooling designs, energy-efficient LED lighting, and smart climate control systems. Additionally, The Nautilus is involved in environmental stewardship, such as coral regeneration programs and adhering to marine protection protocols. The resort's sustainability journey is supported by a dedicated Green Team that coordinates social initiatives and community empowerment projects.
