What's Happening?
The U.S. Space Force is set to demonstrate an initial capability of space-based Airborne Moving Target Indication (AMTI) within the next two years. This development, announced by Chief of Space Operations Gen. B. Chance Saltzman, follows promising results
from initial technology demonstrations. The Space Force has awarded SpaceX a $4.16 billion contract to establish the initial constellation by 2028.
