The Southern Nevada Health District and the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health have reported a confirmed case of measles in a visitor to Clark County. The individual attended ConExpo at the Las Vegas Convention Center and was infectious during
their visit. Health officials are advising those who were at the convention center or in contact with the individual to review their immunization status and seek medical advice if they are not fully vaccinated. Measles is highly contagious, and the virus can linger in the air for up to two hours after an infected person has left the area.
